The wondergirls are temporary a quintet as group member Hyun-Ah announced her decision to leave the group on the 30 July 2007. It has been reported that her replacement will be none other than another JYP Entertainment trainee, Park Sun Young.
The wonder girls belong to JYP entertainment with the man behind it Park Jin Young. Each member of the Wonder Girls has risen as trainees for about a year or two witht he exception of Ye Eun who merely had 3 months training under her belt.
The debut of the group was on the 13th Feb 2007 with their debut mini album Irony.The also have their own MTV TV Series self titled "Wonder Girls". the show is currently running in its second seasonIt was reported that Group member Hyun Ah fainted on numerous occasions which predictably cited as the reason for her departure from the group on grounds of health. There were also rumours that Hyun Ah did not get along with other members of the Wonder Girls.
